All about John’s Point dive site

John’s Point is likely a point-style reef where fish movement increases around the edge of the structure. It has a more dynamic profile than a protected bay dive, with clear water, coral slopes, and the possibility of passing marine life.

What to see

Look for jacks, barracuda, snappers, grunts, reef fish, sea fans, barrel sponges, moray eels, turtles, rays, and small crustaceans in ledges and cracks.

When To Go Diving

Best conditions are generally from March to August, though it can be dived year-round when wind and swell allow. Water is usually around 24–29°C.
