Hospital is likely a local reef site with ledges, coral patches, and fish life rather than a single dramatic landmark. It can be described as a steady Mozambique reef dive, where reef residents and occasional passing pelagics share the scene.
What to see
Reef fish, snappers, groupers, moray eels, lionfish, turtles, rays, jacks, barracuda, soft corals, hard corals, and occasional reef sharks may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions depend on coast and daily sea state, but May to November is often productive for central Mozambique, while summer brings warmer water. Expect roughly 17–30°C water depending on season and region, with visibility from about 5–30 metres.
