Scuba diving in Holbox Whale Shark Tour
Isla Holbox, located on the northeastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, is a small protected island, only 7miles long and 1 mile wide. Isla Holbox is an area favored by many migratory species of birds and attracts a lot of bird watchers. The island has no cars and features pristine beaches and beautiful sunsets. The whale shark tour is the most popular tour here. Usually between June and September, when the ocean becomes especially rich with plankton, whale sharks arrive in these waters to feed and mate.
