All about Hilutungan dive site
Hilutungan is one of the better-known Mactan and Olango-area marine sanctuaries, with fish-rich reef slopes and accessible conditions. It has a lively, colourful character, especially when schools gather near the reef edge.
What to see
Schools of reef fish, jacks, snappers, batfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, hard corals, soft corals, and occasional turtles may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to May, though diving is possible year-round in suitable weather. Water is generally 27–30°C.
