All about Hairball 2 dive site
Hairball 2 is one of Lembeh’s classic black-sand macro sites, famous for unusual critters rather than coral scenery. It is a patient photographer’s dive, where every patch of sand can hide a subject.
What to see
Hairy frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, mimic octopus, wonderpus, nudibranchs, seahorses, pipefish, shrimps, crabs, and snake eels may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Lembeh conditions are productive year-round. Water is generally 26–29°C, with visibility often around 5–15 metres at muck sites.
