All about Gruta Azul dive site
Gruta Azul, or Blue Cave, suggests a cavern or cave site where sunlight and clear Atlantic water create a luminous blue effect. It has a more atmospheric profile than open reef dives.
What to see
Cave walls, blue light effects, wrasse, bream, moray eels, shrimps, small crustaceans, sponges, anemones, and rock-dwelling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm seas from June to October. Water may range from about 17–24°C in island regions, and visibility can be excellent.
