Gili Selang is a dive site at the eastern point of Bali that starts with a black, sandy slope that turns into a healthy reef. The wall is covered in corals of all shapes, and goes down into a deep channel. Divers should be careful because the current is especially strong, and can carry them all the way into the open sea.

When To Go Diving

It is possible to dive at Gili Selang year-round, but the best conditions are from June to October. The air averages 28C/82F, and the water is typically around 26-28C/79-82F.
