All about Gili Gede dive site
Gili Gede, in southwest Lombok, offers quieter reef diving than the better-known northern Gilis. The area has a softer, less crowded island feel, with coral gardens and sandy slopes.
What to see
Reef fish, turtles, rays, coral bommies, butterflyfish, anemonefish, moray eels, nudibranchs, and small macro subjects may be seen.
When To Go Diving
May to October is usually the best season, with dry weather and improved visibility. Water is generally around 27–29°C.
