Friwin Island, in Raja Ampat, offers coral gardens, reef slopes, and a quieter island setting in the Dampier Strait area. It is scenic, lush, and rich in fish life.
What to see
Soft corals, hard corals, sweetlips, fusiliers, reef fish, turtles, wobbegong sharks, nudibranchs, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Raja Ampat is generally best from October to April. Water is usually around 27–30°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
