All about Kanawa Island dive site
Kanawa Island, in Komodo, offers bright coral gardens and generally easier conditions than the park’s strongest current sites. It is a scenic island reef with warm, clear water in good conditions.
What to see
Reef fish, turtles, rays, hard corals, soft corals, garden eels, nudibranchs, and occasional reef sharks may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Komodo is often best from April to November, while central sites like Kanawa can be dived through much of the season. Water is usually around 25–28°C, though cooler layers can occur.
