German Flag is a Komodo site known for manta possibilities, especially when current and plankton align. It has a rugged southern Komodo character with cooler, greener water at times.
What to see
Manta rays may be seen, along with reef fish, turtles, soft corals, sea fans, rays, and schooling fish.
When To Go Diving
Southern Komodo can be good from November to March for warmer, clearer conditions, though manta activity varies. Water may range from about 20–27°C.
