Gala Pita Gala
This amazing dive site is located in Unawatuna and available for divers of all experience levels. The Galapita Gala dive site consists of rocks and a cave of around 3m/9ft long.
When To Go Diving
Diving in Galapita Gala is available from November till April. The average water temperature is around 27C/80F. The air temperature is around 30C/88F all year-round. The water visibility usually ranges between 5-25m/16-82ft. The depth of the dive site is 25m/82ft.
What to see
Divers can see sea slugs, a few varieties of sponge and sea worms, coral trees, black corals, soft and fan corals and different spieces of coral fish as well as manta rays, sting rays, blue ring angle fish and lion fish.
