Wreck
Fumitsuki Maru is a smaller naval wreck with a more compact, intimate character than the lagoon’s large freighters. It offers a strong sense of wartime history, with structure, coral growth, and fish life concentrated into a manageable dive profile.
What to see
Destroyer structure, coral-encrusted metal, deck features, reef fish, soft corals, sponges, lionfish, moray eels, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are often from December to April, though the wreck can be dived year-round. Water is warm, generally around 27–30°C, and visibility is often 15–30 metres.
