All about Face to Face dive site
Face to Face is one of Roatán’s most distinctive shark dives, generally associated with close encounters with Caribbean reef sharks in deeper water. It has a more focused and adrenaline-rich profile than the island’s easy reef dives.
What to see
Caribbean reef sharks are the headline species, with groupers, snappers, jacks, barracuda, and blue-water reef scenery also possible. Shark encounters depend on local operations and conditions.
When To Go Diving
The site can be dived year-round when conditions allow, with April and May often especially good for Bay Islands diving. Water is usually around 24–29°C, with visibility often near 30 metres.
