All about Safaga dive site
Safaga is a broad diving area rather than a single site, known for reefs, walls, pinnacles, and clear water south of Hurghada. It offers a calmer, more spacious alternative to busier northern resort reefs.
What to see
Coral gardens, drop-offs, pinnacles, anthias, parrotfish, butterflyfish, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, turtles, and occasional pelagic fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
March–May and September–November are the best all-round months. Water is generally 21–30°C across the year, with visibility often 20–40 metres.
