Eagle Bay is located in the southwest part of Western Australia and is known for its beautiful reef and photography-worthy underwater world. It is comprised of limestone outcrops and huge boulders, some of them 10m/33ft high. There are some interestingly shaped overhangs around this site.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Eagle Bay throughout the year. The hottest months are January and February, when the average water temperature is 22C/72F. June tends to be the wettest month, with a water temperature of around 14C/57F.
What to see
Divers can often spot dolphins at Eagle Bay, and may sometimes even see great white sharks or gray reef sharks. Other species include barracudas, blue devilfish, grouper, wobbegongs, stonefish, lionfish, and scorpionfish.
