Wall

Coconut Point is a sloping coral reef south of Apo Island in the Philippines. The length of the underwater wall is about 150m/492ft, with diverse marine life and opportunities to see large fish. This place also has the nickname ‘washing machine’, because even at a depth of 10m/33ft, there can be sudden downward currents and difficulties in controlling speed and direction. Drift diving here is a true adventure.

When To Go Diving

It is strictly recommended to dive when the weather and visibility are good. There are two distinct seasons here. The dry season lasts from December to May, and the wet season lasts from June to November. The water temperature averages 26-30C/79-86F.

What to see

Divers may encounter Spanish mackerel, tuna, triggerfish, sweetlips, parrotfish, big-eye trevallies, barracudas, anthias, fusiliers, and sometimes turtles.
