Wreck
The Japanese freighter the Kyokuzan Maru (about 152m/499ft long) was bombed during an American air strike in September 1944. In the cargo rooms Japanese cars and trucks can be found, which provide shelter to batfish, fusiliers, and trevallies. Barracudas and rays are frequently sighted. This wreck is covered with Pycnodonte clams and other filter feeders. There are plenty of corals, sponges, shells, and tunicates. It is a boat dive for experienced divers only.
