Black Coral Point suggests a deeper or current-influenced reef where black coral or darker coral growth may occur. It has a more serious, open-water character than shallow coral gardens.
What to see
Black coral where present, reef fish, snappers, jacks, barracuda, moray eels, rays, lionfish, and deeper reef structure may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm conditions during the local dive season. Water is generally 26–30°C, with visibility often 10–25 metres and sometimes better offshore.
