Aquarium in Bayahibe is a shallow-to-moderate reef site focused on fish density and clear Caribbean water. It has a soft, inviting character, well suited to a relaxed second dive or underwater photography.
What to see
Schools of reef fish, grunts, snappers, sergeant majors, parrotfish, wrasse, angelfish, sponges, sea fans, and small reef creatures may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Bayahibe has diveable conditions for much of the year, with December to May generally calmest. Water is usually 25–30°C, and visibility can reach around 30 metres.
