3 Room Cave is likely a Hawaii lava-tube or cavern-style site, with chambers, arches, and strong volcanic structure. It has a more atmospheric profile than open reef diving.
What to see
Lava tubes, cavern rooms, light effects, soldierfish, squirrelfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, reef fish, sponges, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Hawaii is diveable year-round, with calmer, warmer conditions often from May or June to October. Water is generally around 24–28°C, with visibility often 20–30 metres in settled conditions.
