Wreck
The Eagle Wreck, near Islamorada, is a large artificial reef broken into sections, creating a dramatic route through metal structure and marine growth. It has a strong wreck-diving atmosphere and wide-angle appeal.
What to see
Wreck sections, hull structure, barracuda, jacks, groupers, grunts, sponges, soft corals, moray eels, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October, though it can be dived year-round in calm seas. Water is generally around 20–30°C.
