Viva Shallow is a shallow Bayahibe-area site, also associated with calm reef conditions and beginner-friendly diving. It offers a sunlit Caribbean profile, with coral heads and reef fish close enough for easy observation.
What to see
Divers may see reef fish, sea fans, sponges, hard corals, parrotfish, wrasse, sergeant majors, small rays, moray eels, and juvenile fish around the reef.
When To Go Diving
The site is suitable year-round in calm weather. Water is generally 25–30°C around Bayahibe, with visibility often up to 30 metres in good conditions.
