When to go to Kas
Diving season in Kas runs from April through October, but the peak season is considered from June to September.

Local waters offer a great visibility, around 40m/131ft, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery, see the sunken ruins of ancient cities Aperlay, Kekov and Antifellos as well as interesting shipwrecks, caves, tunnels and canyons.

There is a large amount of interesting dive sites including The Canyon, The Tunnel, Camel Reef, Neptun Reff, Thirteen Reef, Pen Shell Reef, Flying Fish Reef, The Big Cave (40m/131ft) and other sites located on the nearby Kekova and neighboring islands. Canyon and Tunnel are considered the most remarkable dive sites. They feature some amazing canyons, caves and tunnels inhabited by groupers, octopus, nudibranchs, sea turtles, parrotfish and lobsters. The Kovanli island is famous for archaeological divіng, coming here divers can spot lots of ancient amphorae, anchors and ship remains. Flying Fish Reef features a very dangerous Italian air wreck SM.79, lying 71m/233 deep. Other famous wrecks with different levels of complexity include artificially sunk guard boat TCSG- 119 at Neptune Reef, ruins of an ancient city and Syrian wreck on Cape Uluburun (40-60m/131-197ft), Dimitri Wreck (30m/98ft) and aircraft Douglas DC-3б (22m/72ft).
