All about Tanote Bay dive site
Tanote Bay, on Koh Tao’s east coast, is a bright reef and boulder site with easy coastal scenery and varied fish life. It is often appreciated for relaxed dives and snorkelling-style conditions.
What to see
Reef fish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, blue-spotted rays, moray eels, corals, anemonefish, nudibranchs, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from January to September, especially when the east coast is calm. Water is generally 27–30°C.
