Playa del Inglés is an endless beach on the south coast of the island of Gran Canaria, in the Maspalomas area. This resort was developed in the 1960s concretely as a tourist area. Gran Canaria airport is located in 28 km from it. Diving in Playa del Ingles is a great experience thanks to its underwater landscape of volcanic reefs, caves, wrecks and walls. The highlight of the area is the crystal-clear waters and the volcanic origin of the underwater landscape.
Dive sites are easily accessible here. The best dive sites of the Playa del Inglés area are Chucho Rif, Baja Pasito Blanco, El Cabron, Mogan Wrecks – Cermona II, El Pajar.
