Scuba diving in Port Glaud

Port Glaud is located on the northwestern coast of Mahé island. Divers of all experience levels can find here some dive sites that are good for scuba diving as well as for snorkeling. Underwater landscape consists of some impressive granite cliffs sculpted by the sea and rocks covered with soft corals and sponges. The marine life in the waters off Port Glaud includes many species of reef fish swimming among healthy colorful coral formations. Octopus, lobsters, Napoleon wrasse, giant groupers, turtles, reef sharks and rays can be seen here. Among dive sites in this area divers should check out such dive sites as Brissaire Rocks, Chuckles, Vista Bay Rocks and Beau Vallon Reef.
