All about San Dimitri Point dive site
San Dimitri Point is one of Gozo’s more remote and exposed dive sites, set around the island’s western coastline. It has a wilder feel than the easier shore dives, with steep rock, open-water views, and the possibility of stronger conditions.
What to see
Expect steep reef structure, large boulders, drop-offs, damselfish, wrasse, bream, amberjack, groupers, octopus, moray eels, nudibranchs, and schooling fish along the outer edge.
When To Go Diving
Best from late spring to early autumn, especially on calm days with low swell. Water is usually warmest from July to September, while visibility can be excellent, often reaching 30 metres or more.
