Roque Del Herrero is a dive site which is available for divers of all levels of experience. Diving here is done from a boat. This site offers divers an opportunity to dive around a large rock rising from the seabed to above the surface. It is one of the best diving spots for underwater photography. This site is a good location for novice divers and snorkelers.

When to go

The average air temperature is around 21C/70F in the winter and 29C/82F in the summer. The average water temperature is 18C/64F in February and 26C/79F in August. Scuba diving can be done year-round.

What to see

It has a large platform starting at approximately 14m/46ft and extending to 24m/79ft, where breams, jacks and barracudas can be seen. Lobsters, moray eels and octopus can also be found among the crevices and holes of the rock.
