Punta Kaprija is linked with Kaprije Island, where reefs and walls can begin shallow and then drop into deeper blue water. It has the classic Dalmatian island-edge profile, moving from sunny rock to a more vertical descent.
What to see
Divers may see wall life, sponges, colourful corals, gorgonians, damselfish, bream, wrasse, octopus, scorpionfish, conger eels, and lobsters.
When To Go Diving
June to October is the main season, with September often ideal for water temperature and visibility. Deeper areas can be cool, so a 5–7 mm wetsuit is often useful.
