Playa Roja is likely a shore-access volcanic site, with red-toned rock or coastal scenery giving the dive its name. It has a distinctive Canary Islands character, especially in bright visibility.

What to see

Volcanic rock, sand patches, wrasse, bream, parrotfish, octopus, moray eels, rays, anemones, and nudibranchs may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to October. Water is generally 19–24°C, and visibility can reach 30 metres or more in settled conditions.
