Pacific Master (formerly known as Taka) is a custom-built boat that offers amazing diving on the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Bikini Atoll. This destination is known as a peaceful place in the Pacific. Unspoiled coral reefs, wrecks, and a variety of fish species from large whale sharks to tiny pygmy seahorses. 4 dives per day can be made to explore every dive site on the route. The boat is equipped with a dedicated photography area.

Boat interior and exterior
The boat can welcome 20 persons in 12 different cabins with four different room classes. On the upper deck, there are both Deluxe and Premium staterooms all with en-suite bathrooms. On the lower deck, there are standard twin bed and double bed cabins. These staterooms have air conditioning and a shared bathroom. In between or after dives, passengers of Solomon Master can take advantage of the large salon, chat on cozy sofas with other guests or watch a movie. Next to the salon is a huge dining area with gourmet meals. Outside, enjoy the upper sun deck and enjoy the perfect view or find some shade and read a book on the shaded part.

Diving
Dive deck is large and each guest has plenty of room for preparation for the dive. There are lots of storage boxes for the diving gear along with special storage for cameras. There is also a fresh hot water shower for rinsing after dives. Safety and navigation Your safety is always important. Solomon Master is equipped with 2 life rafts, first aid, oxygen, life jackets, and fire detectors along with a number of other safety features.

Diving features
All of the itineraries include diving on the most recognized and desirable destinations of the Solomon Islands including the Florida and Russell Islands. Anything you want to see while diving can be found here. All kinds of marine species from large whale sharks and hammerheads to unicorn fish and barracudas to tiny crabs and pygmy seahorses. But the main feature of Solomons wrecks. Being an American base during WWII Solomon Islands are now represented by a number of wrecks. PNG Solomons TripVerified review
It was my second trip in the TAKA. It is a basic boat but it suits me. Cabin to myself. Showers and toilets that worked. The food had improved greatly since my first trip and we were well catered for. The staff are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the diving on this trip was a little disappointing.
