When to go to Ixtapa

Average water temperature in winter is about 82F/28C and around 86F/30C in summer. The rainy season lasts from May to November, with the possibility of hurricanes.


What to see

Pufferfish, manta rays, starfish, occasional whale sharks, jacks, tuna, angelfish, trumpetfish, nudibranchs, moray eels, red snapper, sailfish, turtles, marlin are some of the species, that can be seen in these waters.
