Mahebourg

Mahebourg is a city located on the Mauritius coast and named after the successful French governor Mahe de La Bourdonnais. Mahebourg is located in 8km/4,9mi from SSR International Airport. It was built by the Netherlands and tourists can feel themselves captured by the atmosphere of the French and Dutch colonial past while passing along wide streets. Tourism industry is flourishing in Mahebourg nowadays with lots of attractions on offer.
