Located off Sainte Maxime, La Seche a l'Huile consists of a large rocky plateau that extends into two drop-offs: one to the west, about 45m/147ft deep, and one to the east, 40m/131ft deep. The marine life includes barracudas, snappers, octopus and seabreams. At the foot of the cliffs divers get a chance to explore two nice caves. This site is an ideal location for deep dives and night dives. It is recommended to advanced divers.

When to go

The best time for diving is from May to November when the average water temperature stays over 20C/68F and the water visibility reaches 15-30m/49-98ft. The average depth of the site is 40m/131ft.
