Kukuljar, near the Kornati and Murter island region, has the feel of a classic central Dalmatian reef or wall dive. The area is known for dramatic limestone topography, clear water, and deeper walls that can appeal to advanced divers.
What to see
Divers may see gorgonians, sponges, damselfish, bream, wrasse, scorpionfish, octopus, conger eels, lobsters, and schooling fish along the wall.
When To Go Diving
June to October is generally best, with September and October offering warmer water than spring and often excellent visibility. Some deeper sections may remain cool year-round.
