Kalpitiya Ridge suggests a raised reef or ridge near the northwest coast, with coral patches and fish moving along the structure. It has a more defined profile than flat reef gardens.
What to see
Reef fish, snappers, fusiliers, rays, moray eels, hard corals, soft corals, nudibranchs, and small schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to April. Water is generally 27–30°C, with visibility often variable but rewarding in calm periods.
