Kalamar Bay, near Kalkan, is a sheltered bay-style dive area with rocky reef, sand patches, and clear Mediterranean water. It has an accessible, easy-going profile that works well for relaxed dives and mixed experience levels.
What to see
Bream, wrasse, damselfish, octopus, moray eels, groupers, nudibranchs, sponges, sea stars, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to November, especially June to October for warmer water. Water often ranges from about 20–30°C during the main season, with visibility commonly 20 metres or more.
