Itemata Liveaboard, French Polynesia

Itemata a comfortable catamaran that offers to explore gorgeous French Polynesia.

Boat interior

Itemata can accommodate 10 persons on board. It suits well for divers and for their fellow travelers as well. There are 2 double rooms, 2 twin bed cabin, and one bunk style twin cabin. All rooms are en-suite. They are cozy and has all necessary facilities to spend time on between dives and after diving day. At the top deck of Itemata, you will find a big dining table where meals are served and two trampolines. It’s perfect to enjoy the breathtaking view of the clear blue water and green islands.

Dive deck

Itemata has everything to make diving convenient. Comfortable place to prepare for the dive, 2 Bauer compressors and inflatable dive skiff to bring you to the dive site. Equipment items can be rent on board.

Safety

There is all necessary safety equipment on board of Itemata liveaboard: first aid kit, life vests, and fire fighting equipment.

Non-diver on board

Itemata is great for diver and for non-divers. You can spend time on top deck, enjoy the view and warm sun. There is also an opportunity to use on board kayak.

Photo facilities

French Polynesia is a true paradise for underwater photography, There are so many things that deserved to be captured with your cameras great corals, enormous amount of fish and of course sharks 0 the main attraction of this area. Itemata has photo facilities on board that will help to recharge cameras, work with images made through the day.

Itineraries

Itemata’ itineraries include diving at the most amazing diving destinations of French Polynesia Fakarava, Tuamotu Archipelago, Marquesas, and Rangiroa. Unexplored dive site of French Polynesia it’s amazing corals, plenty of fish like unicornfish, surgeonfish, kingfish, soldierfish. The main attraction of this area is sharks. Grey reef sharks, silver tips, whitetips blacktips, lemon sharks, nurse sharks silky sharks can be spotted and even tiger sharks can be met sometimes. Although French Polynesia it is also a white-sand beach and turquoise waters.

When to Go

Scuba diving in French Polynesia is possible all year. April to November can be considered as the best time for diving here. The average water temperature ranges from 29C/84F in summer to 26C/79F in winter months.
