All about Inglis Shoal dive site
Inglis Shoal is a submerged reef or seamount-style site where fish gather around raised structure in open water. It suits divers who enjoy a slightly more adventurous PNG profile, with coral-covered slopes and pelagic movement around the shoal.
What to see
Hard corals, soft corals, sea fans, fusiliers, jacks, barracuda, reef sharks, turtles, rays, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best during the calmer season from May to November. Water is usually around 27–31°C, and visibility can be excellent on offshore shoals when conditions settle.
