When to go to Amed

It is possible to dive in Amed all year round. The best conditions are between May and November. December to March is the rainy season (although most days it doesn't rain). Temperatures range from 23-30C/73-86F in coastal areas throughout the year. The water temperatures are usually 24-29C/75-84F.

 

What to see

Dives in this area are characterized by hard coral, sponge, gorgonian, and abundant marine life, including sharks, Mola Mola, barracudas, clown frog fish, mimic octopi, huge stone fishes, different kinds of ghost pipe fish, crabs, tiny juvenile lion fishes, seahorse, razor fish.
