When to go to Bima

Diving in Bima is possible throughout a year, but the best period is from April to December. Air temperatures are between 28-30C/82-86F and water temperatures range between 24-28C/75-82F. Currents may reach 2 knots. Visibility ranges from 10-30m/32-98ft.


What to see
The marine life is presented by multiple species such as critters, nudibranchs, frogfish, pipefish, dartfish, octopi, shrimps, crabs, turtles, groupers, snappers, sweetlips and occasional sharks between boulders. 

Scuba diving in Bima

Bima is the largest and the most economically developed city in Sumbawa Island. The area is perfect for family trips, calm and peaceful vacations in cozy conservative hotels and accommodations.
