Bangka (or sometimes Banka) is an island to the north of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The closest international airport is Mandano, from there you got to get to Likupang and then to Bangka Island by sea. Besides a variety of attractions for tourists, Bangka has one of Indonesia's most famous dive areas, attracting scuba divers from all over the world. Diving here is available for divers of all levels of experience. Variety of dive sites around Bangka with fringing reef slopes and pinnacles carpeted in soft corals. The interesting dive sites are all to the east of Bangka and along the northeast coast of the mainland.
