The Pearl Islet (L’Îlet de la Perle) is the northernmost dive site in Martinique. Here, diving is recommended for advanced divers. The Pearl looks like a giant volcanic boulder. The waters are pristine with several drop-offs, with a depth ranging from 20-60m/65-196ft. The diverse marine life of the site includes barracudas, massive schools of jacks and bigeye trevallies, turtles, grouper, snappers, and parrotfish.

Scuba diving is available all year round. Average air temperatures range from 22-30C/72-86F. The water temperature averages 29C/84F in summer and 26C/79F in winter. The depth of the site is 50m/164 ft. Average visibility is 10-30m/32-98ft.
