Scuba diving in Oakridge
Oak Ridge, located on the South East end of Roatan Island in 28 km from Juan Manuel Galvez International Airport. Oakridge has been called the "Venice of the Caribbean", because of its boat-oriented transportation. It is a small fishing community with few roads, home port to numerous shrimp and lobster boats and buildings on stilts overlooking the water. It is recommended to visit Oak Ridge's Mangrove Tunnel and world-famous B.J.'s Backyard. Diving is done in clear waters teeming with life.
