HMS Hollyhock is a historically important WWII wreck off Sri Lanka’s east coast. It has a sombre military-wreck character and should be approached with respect for its history and depth profile.

What to see

Warship wreck structure, guns or fittings where present, batfish, lionfish, snappers, moray eels, sponges, soft corals, and schooling fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to September on the east coast. Water is generally around 27–30°C, and wreck conditions depend on current, depth, and visibility.
