All about Fronton dive site
Frontón, near Las Galeras, is linked with a dramatic coastal landscape of cliffs, clear water, and a more remote Samaná setting. Underwater, it fits the region’s rugged reef and wall character, with scenery that feels less resort-like and more exploratory.
What to see
Divers may see reef fish, sea fans, sponges, turtles, rays, jacks, snappers, grunts, moray eels, and rocky reef formations along the coastal slope.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm sea conditions, especially when north-coast swell is low. Water is usually around 24–29°C, with visibility often good in settled weather.
