Ferox - stable liveaboard that meets SOLAS requirements to ensure your safety. This boat can be called eco-friendly as she uses biodiesel and due to its size have low fuel consumption. Boat interior and exterior
Boat' has 8 cabins that accommodate 12 passengers. You cabin share a twin cabin or stay at one of the single cabins. There is also a master cabin that gives you additional comfort during your traveling. Most of the cabins have a private bathroom and one of the single cabins features semi-private bathroom.
Diving
Ferox equipped with all necessary diving facilities, including an air compressor, nitrox generator. Diving tenders had ladders for more comfort. Equipment items can be rented onboard.
Safety and navigation
One of the main boat's features is stability and attention to safety on board. She supplied with diving rafts, fire fighting and also search and rescue equipment.
Diving features
Malpelo is a unique diving destination. Ferox is the only liveaboard that offers diving here. That guarantees uncrowded dive spots. More than 383 species of fish, 15 species of corals, 110 species of echinoderms, 340 species of mollusks, 267 species of crustaceans, 18 of mammals can be found in the sanctuary. Divers choose Malpelo for a great opportunity to see hammerheads almost all year round. Add residing eagle rays, mobula and the majestic manta rays to this incredible experience. Whale sharks came to Malpelo in June and stays until September.
Malpelo suits only for experienced divers due to the various ocean currents. You should get an Advance certification and be able to dive with nitrox.
When to Go
Hammerhead sharks can be seen on Malpelo almost all year round. But more chances to see them from December to March. For diving with silky sharks it better to choose timeframe from April to September. Manta rays can be experienced in the months of May and June. June is also is the month for diving with whale sharks
