All about Farol dive site

Farol is a lighthouse-area dive, likely defined by coastal volcanic reef, ledges, and fish movement around rock structure. It can be presented as a scenic local site with approachable depths and a recognisable coastal reference point.

What to see

Divers may see parrotfish, wrasse, trumpetfish, damselfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, sponges, and crustaceans. Barracuda or turtles may appear along the outer reef.

When To Go Diving

Best months are generally April to November, though the site may be dived year-round in good weather. Water is often around 22–27°C in the warmer season, with visibility commonly 15–30 metres.
