How to get to the El Quseir

El Quseir is a 5000-year-old Egyptian city on the Red Sea between Hurghada to the North and Marsa Alam to the South. The closest international airport is Marsa Alam International Airport that is located in 80km/49mi. El Quseir is a small town with ancient architecture and a well-developed diving industry. Dives in El Quseir are performed from shore so it is suitable for novice divers. The majority of the diving in El Quseir is shore dives which are suitable for all divers from novice to experienced. There is also tremendous diving available from zodiac in inaccessible sites along the coast. Hard boat diving is limited due to lack of protected moorings but is available in a couple of sites that can also be dived from the shore. Long fringing reefs stretch along the shore to both the south and north of El Quseir. The underwater landscape consists of coral labyrinths, narrow passages and blind alleys, and coral-covered pinnacles on sandy slopes. Each of the numerous shore sites has its own unique features that set it apart.
